Every year, every teacher has a "duty." My duty this year was to chaperone the Homecoming Dance. I was excited/nervous about this assignment. Definitely excited to see everyone dressed up, especially my soccer girls. Nervous to see students, whom I'm used to seeing in desks, on the dance floor "getting their groove on" if you will. However, I ended up having a great night being the ticket taker. I was able to see everyone as they came in, however, being down the hall and around the corner from the dance floor, I did not have to observe any disturbing images ;)
Here are a few pictures with my soccer girls. **Side Note** I'm glad I've graduated and no longer have to fight the losing battle of finding a cute, modest, comfortable dress. From the looks of it there aren't many out there to be had :)

Some of those dresses are so scandalous! haha.
Ok, so it's been a while since I was on your site and accidentally went to see "josh and lindsay".blogspot.com - so it looks like your honeymoon in Alaska was great and what's up with the Catholic wedding??? I was glad to see the real Lindsay and Josh are painting, coaching, etc. No catholic weddings over the weekend : ) -Eliza
Linds, I think that bright purple sequined "keyhole" number is so...YOU! Oh well. Maybe next year. Jjjjust jjjoking. They definitely picked the coolest, most fun chaperone!
