First, I apologize for the lack of pictures. Elizabeth took my camera with her on a trip, over a week ago, and I don't have it back quite yet. No rush Bessers, whenever you're ready ;)
Second, I apologize to my husband for my lack in word choice at times.
Yesterday was a good day. We returned from a good morning at the temple and that morning we had an installer come and install our new blinds. (That was a treat for Josh, he works so hard on so much sometimes you got to shell out the dough to give the guy a break, hence we paid for an installer.) We walked in the house and I was in love. I think the words out of my mouth were something like, "Oh Josh, don't our blinds look great? We finally have a home. These really make it look like a home." In all my excitement over the beautiful blinds I didn't think of the way my comment was perceived, that is until dinner. Josh finally said, "hum, I've worked hard and have done so much to make us a nice house and make it comfortable, and this is what finally made it a home?"
To that I could only say, most definitely not. Josh has really put his whole heart and has sweat buckets over this past year. Our house is barely recognizable to what it was last year. It looks and feels amazing, blinds or no blinds. Josh even got most of the plumbing in the downstairs redone this past week. The dirt pile is finally going back in the floor. I guess I better take some more pictures of the house and post them. Or you could all just come and visit? Any takers?
