She's a girl! We were both surprised. Josh asked them to double and triple check....and it's true....she's a her :) We're very excited. Josh is actually taking a poll on his website to help us pick out a name. Go to www.joshuastark.blogspot.com to cast your vote. In the meantime on the side of our blog are a few of many, many pictures to follow.
First thing we know about our little one. She's photogenic! Every time the technician rolled the wand over her face (trying to get a look at her profile) she would turn and look at us. It was too cute. If you're good at these things you can see our baby's face, in the first picture, looking straight at you. The right side of the face is blurred out, but I still think she's the cutest baby I've ever seen.
The second thing we learned about our little one is that she's already independent and has a mind of her own. The technician kept trying to poke and prod her to flip over, however, she was not in the mood. She would move her legs, feet, hands, mouth and head, but was too comfortable to go too far, hence we didn't get a good backside/spine shot of her. Here's an almost full body shot, from the side. You can clearly see her backbone from the side and her chin curled up into her stomach. She also has a hand above her head that you can see. Other than that you can see her thigh bone, but the picture cuts off at the knee.
We're very excited and happy, I think the ultrasound for many of us puts some of our weird dreams at ease. We hope you enjoy these as much as we have.

Congratulations! That's very exciting. I wish Lesley was ready to quit work and have babies. Maybe you should give her a talking to Lindsay.
HOORAY FOR GIRLS!!! COngrats, Lindsay! I don't think I ever commented an initial congrats when I saw your pregnancy announcement post - bad blogging etiquette. My apologies. :) We are WAY excited for you both. Not that I'm biased or anything, but girls are the BEST! Already she is too cute and she'd only black & white!
Congrats! It's so great that your little girl is showing signs of being a redhead....ya know with having her own mind already. We all know how those readheads can be. JK! (Kind of?) But seriously, I'm excited for you guys, and I'll love her TONS even if she is one of those redheads. ;)
Congratulations! We love little girls around here. You will have so much fun together.
Congrats Lindsay! How fun! Bloomers, pigtails, dresses, skirts, tights, fun shoes, headbands and accessories, etc. All the fun things you can do with a GIRL! :)
You know Trevor's not telling the truth right? He's the one that needs a talking to him. I always tell him little Trevor is dying with excitement to come down, but his daddy won't let him:)
Congrats on the woman! I'm sure she'll be the woman
Between you two and Amanda and Jonathan, there will be a shortage of pink all over the nation! That is really exciting! How fun. I think I predicted/voted for a girl on your blog. Now I'll have to go vote for a name. Congratulations!
Congrats, you are so lucky. I am excited too see who the next "pregnant cousin" is!
Congrats! That is so exciting. I love my little girl. I just had my ultrasound on Monday and we didn't find out by choice, so we'll be surprised. It's amazing how you can just feel life inside of you. I'm so excited for you. Have a great day.
