More Ella...

The first couple of days at home have been great. We love spending every minute with Ella. I guess when I say we I mean I. Poor Josh had to go back to the real world all too soon; however, Ella still loves her dad time when she can get it. Here are 5 things we know about Ella in her first 5 days.

1.) Her systems work very well...aka...I'm changing her diaper almost hourly.
2.) She can sleep like a champ at night, it's her mom who struggles. (Hopefully this is short lived, it might be because I'm still very sore....everywhere.)
3.) She always feels the need to suck on something. She's found her hands, we're working on a pacifier.
4.) She does not like her arms to be swaddled at her side. She wants them right under her chin...this could be due to the previous #3...she likes them to be close to suck on.
5.) She is so patient with us and I hope she loves us even half as much as we love her.

It's hard to keep your eyes open with a flash.
Getting a massage and some Daddy love.
Napping in the pack and play.
Going along with mom's idea of trying out the new bouncy seat.
My second home...the changing table.
Showing off my hand sucking abilities.

Great pictures! She is soooo little. Savannah was the same way with the swaddling thing. She did not like her hands by her side so I always just swaddle her with her hands out, which I am not sure can be termed as swaddling...but anyway, Ella is adorable. We just can't wait to meet her.

Don't worry! Sleep will increase and diapers will decrease. But in the mean time, everything is pretty incredible, isn't it!
