26 years apart...both kids at heart...

Today we had a family date to Lilliputt. Josh and Simone started out on the bumper boats where you could squirt each other. Both parties fully enjoyed themselves while having completely different experiences. It was very funny/interesting to watch. Simone (being 8) headed straight to the tree/waterfall and just sat underneath the waterfall. No squirting, nothing, just getting completely doused by water. Josh, (being 32) found his fun in trying to see how far his squirter would squirt outside of the pool. I couldn't figure out if he was trying to just see how far it would squirt, make a rainbow, or nail the grandmas on the side. Either way it was very interesting to watch my family and how they had their own fun :) We then went mini golfing. That was also great fun, even for Ella. She was content in her stroller the whole time, and was near giggles when the wind was strong enough to take her breath away. Overall it was a good time had by everyone.

Simone, concentrating, thinking of the fastest way to get wet.
Josh, enjoying himself.
The girls, one completely wet, while mini golfing.

I love how Josh and Simone both match their bumper boats. Sounds like you guys had a fun day :) I'm glad Ella was content and enjoyed it as well.

I just can't tell you how adorable she is! But of course you know. I feel so much the same about motherhood. I can't imagine life without it. The best thing ever. Like seeing a convert baptized all day every day.
