An amazing accomplishment happened this break. Simone really broke out of her shell. Simone loves doing things she's comfortable with, but can be tenative with anything new. For example, these past two summers she has refused to go on go carts. This break was a different story. We went up to Alexandria for a couple of days of fun (unfortunately without the camera) but Simone could not be stopped. In two days Simone sledded, swam, played broomball, cross country skiied and rode on a kiddie kat snowmobile all by herself. Not to mention that she loved each activity and wanted to do them again! We had a great time, and I think both the girls did too. Too bad we also didn't get a picture of Ella cross country skiing for the first time. She rode with Dad on the Baby Bjorn and loved it as well.
One of the first nights of the break we got some good snow and decided to head out to the side hill for some night sledding.

This was in the Denver Airport making our way home for the holidays. Ella was a great trooper during both flights and the layover. Yay for a happy baby!

Simone was a SUPERSTAR! And Ella is super cute. Cute pics!
I am glad to see that Lindsay is reliving the high school days by wearing a letter jacket. Classic! Oh yeah, and the kids are cute too.
Ella is adorable! Your comment on my blog made my day and meant a lot. Sometimes you wonder if you should even bother taking the time to write this stuff down, but you've given me new motivation! Thank you! And I haven't read 'complications' yet, but it's on my list. I'm reading "How Doctor's Think" which is also super interesting. Happy New Year!
