Just Cause....

Two things I would like to "journal" for the night. Firstly, Josh is an amazing dad. He thinks of things that I don't. Today was the first "cold" day in P-town, and it's still only in the 40's. I just got home from a baby shower and went in Ella's room to check on her. I noticed that Josh put a warm, fuzzy blanket on the bottom of her crib and tucked it in all around. I was impressed that dad thought of how to make his daughter warm and even more comfortable. I then looked and saw that he still had the fan going for white noise, but that he pointed it and locked it so it's not blowing on her. Now folks I know these are small things, but that's the difference, I'm impressed I have a husband that pays attention to these details. This little one is lucky!

Secondly, I just wanted to express my love to this cute almost 17 month old. My days are so fun because I spend them with her. Both of these pictures were taken this week. She is getting so big! She is saying more and more words everyday. Words that she clearly says are: please, mama, dada, car, keys, puppy, doggie, yucky, no, cheese, squeeze, eyes, nose, hello, bye, night night and drumroll.... Marie. Sorry to all of you aunts and uncles who don't live as close :) . I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Words that she says, just not as clearly are: Simone, Grandma, Bear Bear, blanket, up. She has a great personality and makes me laugh so hard. She is also learning to give great "squeezes." We love you so much Ella!

**Sidenote** Megan and Sean had their cute Evilyn last Thursday. Megs had a great delivery. Sean said it best when I visited them at the hospital that night. He said, "Lindsay, it sound like the only similarity between your delivery and Megan's was that a baby came out at the end!" Here's to wishing that the 2nd one goes easier!
