Ella loves her dad immensely. Who can blame her? No one else swings her around, throws her up, tickles her, or plays with her in quite the same way. Her dad also always shares his food, lets her take his spot in bed (on sick nights), swims with her, reads to her, talks to her in silly voices, and loves her so genuinely.
Lately Ella has shown her love back, by wanting to be just like her dad...the pictures will explain.
Doing laundry Ella wanted to wear Dad's running shirt.
Straight out of bed, Ella grabbed these, and she knew what to do.
Ella cruising around (these are actually Sean's shoes, but I think Ella thought they were dad's.)***this was the look I got when I told her, "Ella, say cheese!" We'll have to work on that one :)
Last night Dad tried on his hockey shin guards, so what did Ella want to do? You guessed it. Dad was nice enough to strap them on for her!
