Easter Weekend...

We had a great Easter Weekend. Highlights and Lowlights of the past week as follows:
Highlights:
1.) Parents came in town to visit, always a bonus!
2.) Fun meals at Sundance and our house.
3.) Ella fending for herself in the Provo, Pioneer Park Easter Egg Hunt.
4.) Ella trying to give Adele fist bumps.
5.) Adele being ready to sleep unswaddled.
6.) Ella is putting more and more words together and making small sentences. One example, when I was getting her from her crib yesterday morning my phone rang, she heard it and said, "Mom's phone, grab it!"
7.) General Conference!
Lowlights:
1.) Ella now thinks candy is an appropriate thing to ask for, for breakfast.
2.) Adele sometimes has a hard time falling asleep because she's not swaddled. (However, when we try to swaddle her, she loudly tells us, it's no longer for her).
3.) The 20-30 minute line at the Honeybaked Ham store last Saturday, with 2 children under 2 in tow.
Grandma and Ella dying eggs!
I helped, we had to watch this little one, she was swift when throwing the eggs into the dye!
This is an often assumed position these days. (She's looking out the window to see if she can see any buses, fire trucks or motorcycles...you know...the usual).

Just hanging out during lunch today.

Here was the 2 and under section at the Pioneer Park Easter Egg Hunt; unfortunately a couple of 12 year-olds still decided to dominate the area.
Before the hunt started they came over the loud speakers to remind the parents that the hunt was for the children. This doesn't mean I didn't give Ella a small pep talk and a couple of pointers/tactics for the hunt!
Good job Ella!
It was also quite blustery and chilly, way to stick it out Ella!

what a cute post! Savannah also asks for candy for breakfast, but that may have something to do with the fact that she sees me sneaking some :) Very cute pics.
