Hiking Mt. Timp and other wanderings...

Josh convinced Michael and Ian (another MN native) to hike Mt. Timpanogos last Saturday. It's something I did when I was a sophomore in college and I don't think Josh wanted to be outdone, so they had their work cut out for them. Not that anyone is counting, but I'm sure my group summitted and descended quicker than they did. No big deal, I'm just saying :)

(I'm going to hear it for that comment I just know it :)

My amazing husband, near the top.
One of the amazing views.

The great company he kept, with a glimmer of fall color in the background!
P.S. For the record it took my group 6 and a half hours up and down (we ran down). They took a little over 7? They slid down the glacier on their bums coming down and somehow thought that would be faster than my running skills....silly boys!

Now here is my proud Ella bear. If you notice under her chair, she's taking after Elizabeth.....argh! (Not that it's a bad thing to take after Elizabeth, I would just rather her decide to be a collegiate track athlete, rather than pick up on her bad habit of ripping up napkins!)

Self-portrait of my buddy and me. Shiner on her eye courtesy of a chair at church.

Ella loves taking pictures, not necessarily being in them, but definitely taking them. Before I got this shot, she had been lining her dolls up to take pictures of them. She was even telling them "say cheese!"

I couldn't post without paying homage to the cutest face in our house. We love you Deli!

And one last shot from this morning. She made a boat out of her play-doh and a fork. She was proud of it, look closely, she's an artist.
We're off to the Utah State Fair this afternoon. I've been bummed that we've missed the great Minnesota get together these past couple of years, so we're hoping Utah will pull through on this one. Wish us luck!

Love the pictures of the hike. I hiked it once in like 9th grade, and haven't had much of a desire to do it again. I remember it being totally exhausting. Like you I ran down the mountain...but I don't think I did it in 6 or 7 hours. Good work! I just love those cute little girls of yours!
