I don't know why it won't let me write above my first picture, but oh well. Last weekend we went to the state fair. Nothing can beat the great MN get together, but we still had fun. Did I mention it was 93 degrees outside? Oh yes, we almost melted! Just look at Adele's face above and Ella's below...they are saying...."It's HOT!"Despite the heat, we had a good time. We visited many animal barns, saw the sea lion show, watched pigs racing, people watched and tried to find a decent pronto pup. We wore the girls out and had a good time!
Ella enjoyed petting the donkeys. She wanted to take one home with us, she even went as far as to say "we NEED one!" I'm not so sure about that.
And a snapshot of Ella as we were organizing our winter apparel in our new laundry closet.

We went to the fair on Friday, and it was SO HOT then too. I don't think it was quite 93, but it was warm. I'm ready for the fall weather. It sounds like we did all the same things though. We should have waited a day and gone with you guys!
Nothing can beat the MN state fair. But I'm glad you guys survivied the heat. We broke a record and got up to 111 last weekend! Too bad I can't pull off cute pics like those two. I'm glad you guys had fun :)
