We had a birthday girl last month, and we had a fun time celebrating her. We had a fun birthday party at the park, and it really felt like a kick-off to summer. It was such a nice night to be out with friends having fun. Happy Birthday Ella babes!!!
This shows Ella and Dad doing one of their favorite activities together....watching movies! Hopefully Josh gets lucky and at least one of his girls will like movies as much as he does...
Grandma Karen sent Ella some daffodils for her birthday. She has had a great time watering them and watching them grow!
Here are Ella and Hailey. Hailey is one of Ella's first "best friends". They have loved doing classes, playing and being silly together for the last couple of years. We will be so sad to not be living close to them soon. They are off to the Big Apple for a job and new adventures. Hopefully we can visit them sometime. Hailey also happens to be a 3 year old genius if I've ever met one, so we'll be trying to get her to be Ella's roommate in 15 years or so. :)
A little love for my other cute thing....
This past weekend my parents came to town. We had a great time celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and a baby shower. We had a great time and loved having them here. These 3 girls competed for my mom's attention most of the time. Who can blame them? I love her too!
Here's an Ella shot before heading off to her first day of pre-school. (We are starting her in a summer pre-school two days a week). As the picture may show she was a tad bit nervous. We had barely turned down the street of her school and she started to cry! However, we just ripped the band-aid off and left her. We stood outside the door and heard her scream/cry for 2 minutes, and then it was silence. Golden silence. We came to get her two and a half hours later and....it was a miracle! She loved it, and she's okay going back.....a whoo hoo! Good Job Ella girl
That's about it. We've been busy working and playing, playing and working. Josh is trying to finish up some independent study classes this Spring and we are excited to be done with that. We also are going to make our way back to the homeland at the end of the month - very excited about that!

SO many cute pictures! I LOVE them! Who would have thought a cute little 3 year old could be so busy? I LOVE the pic of Mama and the girls! It's adorable. I mean all the pictures are adoralbe! Keep posting, I love them!
So many cute pictures and stories. Hailey talks about Ella all the time. She makes up stories about the two of them together. It's pretty funny. We are all ready missing you guys!
