Another summer has come and gone, and we are again missing our Simone!!! We had such a fun summer and are always bummed when she leaves. We were able to pack in a lot of swimming, swimming lessons, craft days, farmers markets and a lot of reading. She also helped us with our move across the country and was able to see and help set up our new abode. She also became very prolific with Grandma's I-Pad - hopefully her skills at "Cut the rope" will come in handy in the 6th grade ;)
She's getting so old! We are so excited for her to start middle school this year, and look forward to seeing her again soon!
We also had another visitor/angel with us for the last 3 weeks of our summer! My mom came and helped us to have a baby, pack up a house, drive my children and me across the country, and set up our new house! We were more than sad to see her leave, but we knew that her body needed to go home to rest. The pace she was going would have killed an Olympic athlete eventually! Mother, your capabilities and your love amaze us. We are so lucky and blessed to have you as a mother, grandmother and best friend. Thank-you for everything, we miss our "ga-ga" and our "ma-ma" as Ella and Adele call her respectively.
I hope to be able to serve and love my children as you have with your children - you are a great example!

How fun that Simone was able to be there with you guys and see your new place :) She's getting so big and SO beautiful! Mom IS amazing and has done so much for all of us, it's unreal.
