A fun fall weekend!

My parents came to town this past weekend and we took advantage of the extra help and we ventured out to explore our new surroundings. Stop #1 the pumpkin patch. It was quite the place with plenty of attractions for the kids. Above you can see the haunted train ride :)

Below the girls are farm helpers?

Grandma with her faithful admirers :)

After seeing Lucy ride the school bus last week Ella was all about getting her picture taken "riding" this school bus!

Do you see that? It's pure elation! She would have gone down the inflatable slide all day if I had let her.

We took a very dusty, hot, tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. The concept may be a little more exciting than actually executing this part of the adventure. Carrying pumpkins back to the tractor, plus herding the brood of young kids was not the easiest!

Ella would have taken many if we had let her.

This is not the best picture, but is definitely one of my daughters favorite activities, hands down. Playing in grandma's make-up. Something they don't get with mom.

The next day we ventured out to the Brookfield Zoo. We had a great time and saw many animals. Unfortunately the only pictures that turned out were with the Canadian Geese, oh well!

That elation looked a bit like fear, but I'll take your word for it. Also, I'm concerned with the picture of the Canadian goose attacking Deli...but what doesn't concern me when it comes to these kids? All in all, very cute post :)
