"Road Tripping In the USA...."

This weekend was one to reflect and to think. I left school early on Friday in order to fly down to Phoenix. Lauren picked me up from the airport, we then went to finish packing her last few things at her apartment and then we were off, on our way back to Minnesota. What took me a mere 3 hours to cover in a plane took us 26, uneventful, and very unscenic hours in the car. Who knew that Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa could all look so similar. I did think of a great invention though. Mapquest should add a feature to their directions where you can input if you want the quickest, most direct route, or if you would prefer the scenic option for the ride. Unfortunately mapquest only offers the quickest most direct route.....hence the pictures of our unscenic drive.
