Seattle / Portland Trip

Josh and I had a great time last week on our trip to Seattle and Portland. We were able to take time and space away from our house project and hectic life. We loved exploring, having fun and just being together. My last post was dedicated to the last two days of our trip (Lesley's wedding) but this post is dedicated to everything else we were able to do.

We took this fashionable scooter around Seattle. We loved the accessibility of hopping on and off to snap pictures or enjoy Seattle. I was the navigator on the back.

This was a flower arboretum that we drove through. It was beautiful.

Here's Pike's Market, where they throw the fish, it was a good time had by all.

On Queen Anne Boulevard overlooking Seattle.

Seattle skyline.

This was on a Lake Union and Lake Washington boat tour.

The fun floating houses.

I just wanted to leave a little mark of my own..... ;)

Sleepless in Seattle anyone?

The grandma boat car that we rented and that Josh dreaded driving....hence the scooter.

Mountain Biking in Portland, this was my first time and I loved it.

The famous Rose gardens in Portland.

Me having my try at being picturesque.

Outside the Portland Temple for Lesley's wedding.

It looks like you two had a great time. Isn't Seattle great? Seattle is one place we would move to if we could.
Don't worry about our move, there will be plenty of time for all the help we can get around the house!

We were in Seattle a number of months ago and had a great time. I especially loved the maple éclairs from Dahlia Lounge bakery.

Did you drive/scoot around Queen Ann? Those houses are to-die-for, huh? Also, is that THE "Sleepless in Seattle" house? Not even Suzanne, a native, could tell me where it is! Nice, Linds. Nice. Let's see...what else? Oh, way to go on the triathilon, boys (I can't even spell it, let alone dream of entering one ;) and I'm sure glad to know y'all are safe and sound after all the bridge collapsing!
