I have memories of wearing my mother out when we were young. Most often my dad would make some comment like, "you kids are going to make your mom have to go to the hospital." It makes us laugh now, but as a kid it scared us enough to behave, at least for a minute.
Yesterday my girls were "having a morning" to put it nicely. They were both crying/whining for no apparent reason. Josh was getting ready for the day and was trying to get out the door. As the whining and crying increased I noticed Josh start to zip around our apartment a little quicker. I laughed and asked him if he was trying to get out faster? He wouldn't admit to it, but I didn't blame him. He then pulled a dad. He was halfway out the door, with the door already closing behind him as he said to the girls, "be nice to your mom today. She's the only one you got!"
It made me laugh and think of my childhood. However it is true, and they better watch out, or else I may have to go to the hospital! ;)

ha ha! Too true. :)
Haha...I love it. I had a few days this past week where I thought I might need a trip to the hospital!
