Memorial Day Weekend 2012....and my life looks so much cooler when Sean is taking the pictures!

We have had a fun and busy week. Ella had her last week of pre-school. In her own words:

"Mom, I'm pretty sad that school is going to be done. But I am excited about the pool being open." Well said Ella, me too. To say that Ella loves school and learning is an understatement. She loves being surrounded by friends and learning new things. She's already excited for next fall when she gets to go to school 3 days a week!

Ella and Miss Candy
This past week we also had the best present ever....a visit from the Slobodans! They stayed with us from Monday to Friday - and the time went too fast! It took two seconds to fall into the routines- feeling like we had never left each other. We were so sad to see them go and are currently trying to job search for Sean in the Chicagoland area :)

The cute couple.

The very cute fam.
A highlight of having fun visitors is the excuse to do fun things. We took advantage of the time with them and we partied hard. We went downtown, visited the Shedd, and Millennium Park. We went to parks and the Children's Museum, and we even tried to show off downtown Naperville. We girls had a fun night out to a movie and the guys made sure to get in a hockey night. Their visit was so fun, and we hope to make it an annual occasion......right Megs?

The Bean
The city
The newlyweds ;)
The cute one.
The handsome one.
And the partners in crime.

Come back soon Slobodan Family!
P.S. We welcome all visitors and promise to show you a good time - please come.
P.P.S. This past weekend we also had a good part of my family come into town. David and his family, Bessers and my parents all came to visit and party it up Memorial Day style. We had so much fun playing, going to beaches, birthday parties, pools, parades and family dinners. We are already having a hard time getting back to reality!!! Thank-you everyone for coming to visit and for playing with us. My apologies for the lack of pictures when my family was in town. Maybe we should have kept Sean around, seeing he was the photographer for the first part of the week!
