Thanksgiving 2012

Two weeks before Thanksgiving Grandma Karen and our sister-in-law Kjerstin drove down for a visit.  We loved having visitors and had a great time.  We were able to visit, go to the children's museum, make some crafts and have a good time together. The trip was quick, but very appreciated!

This past week we were able to go to Minnesota for the holiday.  I really didn't do a great job of taking pictures, but we had a great time.  Thanksgiving morning we ran a 5k downtown, with just about every other person in the state of Minnesota.  It was really busy!  On our way home Josh decided he wanted to start taking pictures in front of every house that he's lived in.  That happens to be a large number.  At any rate we stopped by a couple on the way home from the run.  Below is Josh's favorite ;)

Thanksgiving Day was great weather and was really mild.  The girls got out some energy with Bess outside, while the rest of us cooked inside.

 Cute people.
This apartment was on the way up to Mora.  It's an old Firestation....Josh lived there.
Cute people our last day in MN.

I didn't get pictures of most of the action, but we had fun going to the Waterpark of America, and having a Polar Express/Train Decorating party at David and Eliza's house.  We were also able to spend an afternoon with Grandma Karen and an afternoon up in Mora.  It was great to be able to spend time with both sides of the family.

How fun that you had so much family around! Glad it was a good holiday!

Oh and I just read your comment about tearing up when you voted...I totally did too. So funny. I really do blame it all on motherhood.
